He promotes various publications, residences and cultural projects; he is also focused on the rescue and restoration of emblematic architectural landmarks in Mexico. He is inspired by sustainability and works for it. César has been president and vice president of leading Mexican organizations such CANIRAC, AMR, AMF, ANSCOR, etc. as well as member of the Board of TATE (London), New Museum (New York), MoMA (New York), Museum of Modern Art (CDMX), Museo Tamayo (CDMX) and Carrillo Gil (CDMX).

With both German and Colombian origins and now living in CDMX, Johann is one of the main engines of the creative industries and art in Mexico. He is the director of Diseñando Mexico 32, one of the curators of the most important art fair in Latin America, Zona Maco, founder and director of Paragon Model Management, the number one modeling agency in Latin America. His specialty is to approach and vindicate the textile culture around the country in unconventional environments.
